TRANSFERS OF EQUITY

What is a Transfer of Equity?

A transfer of equity occurs on a change of parties where a person is added to or removed from the legal title.

If you have a mortgage, you will need your lender's consent to a transfer of equity. Your lender will require a firm of solicitors on their Conveyancing Panel to act on their behalf.
